this week i'm loving...
vacation!!!
while my car may not look exactly like this when i leave town sunday evening for a week of vacation, i can definitely remember family vacations with suitcases stacked on top when i was younger! i'm looking forward to spending a week by the river with good music playing in my ears and a book in my hand. hopefully i'll come back with a good tan!

i got to go home with G last weekend to Mississippi and spend the whole weekend with him! it was GREAT! for those of you that don't know, G lives in Wacko so we usually only see each other 1-2 times a week depending on our work schedules. it was so much fun getting to see him for 4 1/2 straight days! i got to hear lots of stories and see lots of places! :) SO much fun!
celebrating birthdays
G's birthday was a couple of weeks ago and we celebrated all.week.long. i made him desserts all week and then took him out to outback on his birthday. it.was.fabulous! the celebration continues (and concludes) tomorrow night when we go to the Astros/Braves game. he loves the Braves so i got him tickets for his birthday. let the celebration continue!!! :)
so glad you had a good time. Don told me where G lives is even more remote than us! hope your vacation is great, start to finish.
