Top 10 of 2009

for the last couple of weeks, i've been a frequent visitor to time magazine's "top 10 of everything in 2009." some of them are really interesting (most underreported stories) and some of them not so interesting (new species)-at least to me. in honor of this time of year and some time i've spent reflecting on 2009, i'd like to offer my own top 10 list for 2009. these are in no particular order...
